Do you fear death, or dread the loss of independence and vitality? You're not alone; many of us avoid discussions on death, leaving us unprepared, overwhelmed, and full of regret, especially during times of complex emotions and disorienting grief.

What if we embraced death as part of our human journey, finding empowerment in contemplating our mortality and planning for a meaningful end-of-life experience?

My mission is to transform our relationship with death, honoring it as a sacred rite of passage and a catalyst for wholehearted living.

As an End-of-Life Guide, I provide you with the knowledge and tools to advocate for yourself and your loved ones, prepare for the end-of-life in a practical and uplifting way, and realize your vision of a meaningful passage.

Let's start a conversation about how you can prepare for a meaningful end-of-life experience - for yourself or someone you love. Contact me today to take the first step toward peace, empowerment and personal transformation.

My Story

Ozzie (L), Levi (R) and me in the Santa Cruz Mountains

Greetings, and thank you for your interest in exploring death and dying.

My name is Monica Montefiore, I'm a certified End-of-Life Guide and founder of The Mountainflower Path.

I took a meandering path to this work. For over two decades, I led a successful career in corporate real estate. At some point, I realized my work was no longer aligned with who I had become. I had evolved personally, but my career had not evolved with me. I made the decision to leave, and give myself time and space to contemplate what was next.
